Reversing kidney disease with mineral clay

Reversing Kidney Disease Naturally(NaturalHealth365) Poor diet and an aging population are contributing to the dramatic rise in chronic renal disease worldwide, with high blood pressure and diabetes the most significant risk factors related to renal failure.

Fortunately, according to scientific research, there is real hope for chronic renal disease sufferers – using uncontaminated green healing clay to reverse this dreadful health condition.

How does clay help reverse kidney disease?

Clay minerals actually help to lower the phosphate levels in the body. In a series of laboratory trials and cell culture experiments, it was proven that the high phosphate-binding capacity of the clay minerals was not only as effective as traditional pharmaceutical methods, but was better tolerated.

There are natural treatments for chronic kidney disease, but not all of them are safe or work well. Thanks to the mineral content, clay works well at lowering phosphate levels without negative side effects.

Patients with chronic kidney disease often experience electrolyte imbalances – one of which is phosphate excess. This is because in chronic kidney disease, the kidney loses its ability to effectively filter out phosphate – which is why it tends to accumulate, in the body and cause harm.

Poor kidney function is life-threatening

When kidney function is compromised, the extra calcium-phosphate gets deposited in the blood vessels – which leads to heart disease, stroke and premature death. Compared to people with healthy kidney function, those with kidney disease are at least ten times more likely to suffer a heart attack or stroke.

Hyperphosphatemia is the term used for the build up of phosphate and it is the biggest risk for having a cardiovascular event related to renal failure. In fact, it presents a higher risk than end-stage dialysis.

People suffering from chronic renal insufficiency are required to take phosphate binders with food. In the stomach and intestines, these medications bind to phosphates, from food, so they can be excreted (undigested) instead of being absorbed.

Obviously, these medications cause negative side effects, such as increased calcium levels in the blood, constipation and nerve problems. And, let’s not forget, we’ve written extensively about the dangers of excess calcium.

The good news is researchers from Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology and Fim Biotect developed a treatment which can be tolerated by patients. They found that clay, from volcanic ash deposits in the Friedland area of northeast Germany, was just as effective as conventional phosphate binders plus safer to use. This means it can be used for longer periods of time and actually help patients stabilize and improve their kidney function.

The healing power of clay

Clay, especially bentonite, has been used medicinally for centuries, but only in recent years has it been viewed as having powerful healing properties.

Natural healthcare practitioners have used clay to help detoxify the digestive system, clear away bacterial pathogens, eliminate parasites from the intestines, increase T-cell count, neutralize free radicals, remove heavy metals plus assist in alkalizing the body.

All of the above helps the filtering system of the body. Keep in mind, the kidneys are a major organ of elimination – so clearing the body of toxins helps them to function better.

As we all know, chronic inflammation can lead to degenerative conditions including kidney failure, heart disease and cancer. There is evidence that clay minerals work well on inflammatory conditions such as irritable bowel disorders. Remember, a healthy gut equals a healthy body.

The best way to use mineral clay

Clay can be used, to detoxify, in different ways such as in topical applications including packs and clay baths or internally with either a small amount added to water or in pill form.

Bentonite clay toothpaste removes unwanted oral bacteria, helps to kill off infections and promotes healthy gums. Bentonite clay masks draws out excess oils and debris, boosts circulation to tighten the skin and simulates cellular regeneration.

Applying the clay, externally, anywhere will revitalize the cells and help them to release toxins. Clay baths pull the stirred up toxins from the body through the pores. Living clay has strong electromagnetic power, which can pull toxins from soft tissue for elimination.

Taking the clay internally absorbs any fresh toxins ingested before they are assimilated by the bloodstream. All three methods can work together to restore balance.

However, mixing bentonite clay with a little water will produce a seriously thick paste. As you continue to add water, it will continue to thin out and disperse in the water. If you take it internally you must drink water throughout the day. The dosage is anywhere from a ½ to 1 scant teaspoon.

For people with a tendency toward constipation, it is better to take your clay in the evening. It is usually accompanied by Psyllium husks and specific herbs to aid cleansing and removal of toxic matter. Obviously, for serious health concerns – always work with a trusted, healthcare provider.

What about all the radiation already in our soil. Wouldn’t clay be absorbing those?

    • 1555

From what I have read bentonite clay is used to remove radiation from rain water catchment tanks. One is just to sprinkle some bentonite on the top of the water in the tank and let it settle on the bottom. Voila – supposedly that makes the water safe to drink from something like the last 3 years of Fukushima fallout.
After I heard about that I last year sprinkled some bentonite on top of my growing beds. Will do the same this Spring, and then grow my outdoor plants under plastic supported by wire hoops since Fuku is still spewing stuff around the globe.

I have a friend approx. 30 with 2 kids on dialysis 3 times a week. What are the chances of this helping her?

    • Laurie Holmes

Nettle seeds made into a tincture, may help your friend, and activated charcoal is also effective at binding up toxins bless you

      • elfmom55

Thank you for response but Emily got a transplant finally about 6 mos. ago and is doing quite well.

  • Laurie Holmes

Nettle seeds, activated charcoal are good there are story’s of people getting off dialysis, with nettle seeds do research on these things, also try to get the blood ph right as acidosis is a concern for anyone in renal failure

    • Katie Webber

Thank You!! I will definitely look into all 3 things to start taking and I’ll ask his doctor for a request of a blood PH test!!!

What is the Botanical name for Nettle or Nettle Seeds.. I am trying to find this in my country.
