The dairy controversy: Is milk good or bad?

Print Friendly

raw-milk(NaturalHealth365) Let’s face it: The world is waking up to the dangers associated with pasteurized milk. But, as conventionally-produced milk demands are declining, we see a growing interest in locally-grown, farm products – including raw milk. So, the question remains: Is milk a health problem or not?

What really causes milk allergies? On the next NaturalNews Talk Hour, Jonathan Landsman and Mark McAfee, Founder of Organic Pastures dive deep into the topics of lactose intolerance, food allergies, gut health plus the suppressed truth about modern milk production. What happens when you drink pasteurized milk?

According to Mark McAfee, “people are sick and tired of getting sick from pasteurized milk. There’s a lactose intolerance issue … when you drink pasteurized milk, you get gastric cramps.”

He goes on to say, “it’s been processed to such a high level of shelf life, that it’s no longer good for gut life. The proteins are denatured, the enzymes are gone, the bacteria are blasted and become part of an allergenic elixir of white fluid milk that people simply can’t digest.”

Think about it: Most holistically-minded nutritionists tend to warn people about drinking all kinds of milk products – but, they forget to teach their customers/patients about the most important issue – quality. Thankfully, we see a major shift happening – within the natural health world – toward the focus on quality (clean) food.

On the next NaturalNews Talk Hour, Jonathan Landsman and Mark McAfee talk about why nobody should be drinking (or eating) conventional dairy products; new research about the value of raw milk plus much more!

The most dreaded concept within the food industry and mainstream media

It’s called an ‘educated consumer.’ Clearly, there’s an emerging upward trend in the demand for thoughtful discussions about the quality of our food supply. People are growing weary of the same old weight loss or “health” advice about eating less calories or avoiding saturated fat. In fact, intelligent food consumers now know that quality is far more important than ever discussed before.

For example, intelligent vegetarians understand that simply avoiding meat is not an optimal path toward health – especially with all the processed “natural” foods on the market, loaded with GMOs. And, milk lovers now know that “low fat” or “no fat” milk is not only lacking in nutrients – it’s actually harmful to your health.

Bottom line, people are discovering the health benefits of getting better educated about food choices; taking the time to visit a local farmers market and supporting the local (organic) farmer to obtain the best quality food at very affordable prices.

On the next NatuarlNews Talk Hour, learn about nutrition like you’ve never heard before on the mainstream news and discover the health benefits of raw milk.

The question to drink milk or not is a broader question that I hope will be addressed in this show. I don’t drink milk because of the heartache and anguish experienced by the mother cow when her little baby is ripped from her side. That poor baby is then put in a box all alone and fed some other concoction intended for white veal – NOT mothers’ milk! Some little calves are simply discarded as dog food. Please talk about that!

    • Maria

Yes Wendy, yes. I agree with you. Let them talk about the anguished mother cow when her baby is taken away from her. Shame on them! I wish more people think about this. Poor animals! Some people are so cruel!

You need to get a grip. Are you as concerned about abortion?

Hello, I did make a comment and it has now disappeared!?

Commercial milk and cheese are processed foods. There is nothing natural about them. Once a food that occurs in nature has been doctored with; it is best to stay away from it.

  • Murphy

A product that has a long shelf life is a fake food. I don’t understand how the public is receptive to these unnatural products.

  • Kendra Palmer

When I was growing up the only milk we had delivered was raw. No one even question if it was safe to drink. It was part of our daily meals. We never heard of anyone getting sick from it.

A1 protein, a protein resulting from a mutation between 3,000 and 5,000 years ago in some cow breeds milks exacerbates or even causes some autoimmune conditions.

A1 protein is contained at the rates of 50% protein in Holstein cow milk, 4% in Ayrshire cow milk, 2% in Jersey cow milk.

Most milk sold in supermarkets is Holstein milk throughout America and Europe.

A2 milk protein, which is healthy, constitutes 100% of the protein in Guernsey and in Dexter cow breed milk. All sheep, goat, camel and buffalo milk, as well as that from all Indian native cow breeds, and all African native cow breeds is healthy A2 protein milk.

I can’t consume cow’s milk products. I use goat’s milk. Cow’s milk can take 24 hours to digest while goat milk takes 20 minutes. Wonder why you have issues with something that hangs around poorly digested in your gut for up to 24 hours?
