Detoxification News(NaturalHealth365) Most conventionally-trained physicians believe that the human body (specifically the kidneys and liver) are already designed to remove toxins. Why is detoxification so important for me?

Simply put, all of us naturally detoxify – everyday. Detoxification is essential to life – without it we would not survive. Everyday our body must try to neutralize toxins in the colon, liver, kidneys, lungs, lymph system and skin. But, when over-burdened with chemical poisons in our food, personal care products and household furniture (to name a few) – we lose our ability to detox which leads to disease.

Remember, the first sign of disease (and a greater need for detoxification) is fatigue. Eating too many wheat products – especially if they are genetically engineered; factory-farmed meat and dairy products plus overly-processed sugar will clog up your circulation and cause all sorts of health-related problems.

For example, did you know that casein, in dairy products, is used to make furniture glue? Many health experts agree that poor health begins in the gut. ‘Sticky foods’ like gluten, casein and sugar cause intestinal disturbances like, Candida and irritable bowel disease. And, let’s not forget those nasty parasites – which can cause leaky gut syndrome, excess bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, sinus congestion – the list goes on and on.

But, the main point here is, you can reverse these health problems with a variety of all-natural (safe) detoxification programs.

What are some ways to remove toxins from your body?

One of the least complicated ways to remove toxins from the body is to eat an organic, plant-based diet loaded with lots of raw (or lightly steamed) vegetables – depending on your tolerance level. These vegetables – high in fiber – ‘sweep away’ junk inside your intestinal walls. Raw fruits can be good – just don’t overdo it because Candida and parasites love sugar.

There is almost an endless array of detoxification programs including, water fasts and juice feasting. Naturally, it’s important to work with a trusted healthcare provider that has lots of experience in this area. Natural products like Alfalfa tablets, chlorella, Hawaiian spirulina and chlorophyll can greatly improve your ability to eliminate unwanted toxins. Of course, colonics, coffee enemas plus many other natural protocols will accelerate your results.

Who should detoxify the body? What are some natural ways for a person to cleanse and detox the body? Are there any negative effects when doing a natural cleansing program? These questions plus much more will be answered on the next NaturalNews Talk Hour. Join us!

Hey Ruby, don’t try to start the detox plan on your own — there’s much to learn to do it right. My suggestion is for you to go to a couple of health food stores and ask the people there if they know of any nutrition minded doctors or professional nutritionists in your area. If so, check them out over the phone first to see about having them help you and then visit them. There are excellent non-medical doctors who practice natural health with their patients. I’m sure you’ll find some help, but don’t try to do anything by yourself because you might cause more problems — seek proper professional health workers first.
