How consumers are misled by claims that detoxification is unnecessary

Even while natural and alternative health methods are growing in popularity in Western culture, efforts to detox continue to be met with skepticism. Opponents of the detoxification process will label it as a “scam,” and insist the body has complete ability to detoxify itself with no further intervention.

But buying into this explanation can be dangerous to your health. According to Dr. Hardick, the body does have the ability to detoxify itself.  But, the current volume of toxins in the environment – many of them unseen – make it too much for the body to handle on its own.

Historically, there has been a very real threat of toxic overload going back for centuries, as well as a focused effort to deal with the problem.  Today’s detoxification strategies usually have similar goals, such as:
