(NaturalHealth365) The entire world is watching the Ebola epidemic, and, with the first patient arriving in the United States – and pronounced dead within 10 days of hospital admission – you may be wondering about your own safety. Over 2,000 individuals have fallen victim to this deadly infection, which has a fatality rate of between 60 – 90 percent.
The situation is NOT under control. CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden has said, ‘U.S. hospitals are well prepared to handle Ebola patients’ – yet they admit there is no cure, and can only medically provide “supportive care”. How bad is it really?
WHO chief Margaret Chan said: “The virus attacks the body’s soft tissues – a process some doctors describe, bluntly, as like watching a patient ‘dissolve.”
Conventional medicine can only offer IV fluids and electrolytes; oxygen to assist breathing; medications to control fever, blood clots and maintain blood pressure; antibiotics for secondary infections from bacteria and good nursing care. Eventually, at best, conventionally-trained doctors hope an infected person can destroy the virus with their immune system. (it’s a ‘waiting game’)
The whole truth and nothing but the truth…
Blinded by a limited perspective, most people have no idea how to protect themselves from viral infections. Government officials continually try to calm the public with half-truths, doublespeak and dumbed-down ‘health alerts’. Clearly, the public needs to know more about a possible Ebola solution.
Here are five Ebola facts that the mainstream media has NOT been publicizing:
1. The spread of the virus is inevitable.
Everyone is hoping that Ebola won’t show up in their neighborhoods, but containment doesn’t seem likely with its long incubation period (2 – 21 days) and highly infectious nature. “It’s no longer a matter of if but of when Ebola will begin to spiral out of control in the U.S,” notes Georgetown professor of medicine Dr. Jesse L. Goodman, former chief scientist at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
2. The virus can survive for a long time outside the human body.
You may think you’re safe as long as you stay away from a patient infected with Ebola virus, but the virus can survive outside the human body for between 1 – 2 hours. If an infected patient leaves a trace of the virus on a eating surface, bed sheet or towel, you could become infected if you come into contact with it within a short period of time.
How could the CDC visit the family of Thomas Eric Duncan, the man that just died in Dallas, and not remove the sweaty sheets from their home that Duncan had left behind, as reported by Anderson Cooper on CNN. Are these health officials that stupid or do they not care?
3. Could this virus be a way of reducing the population?
Like it or not, conspiracies DO exist and you have to wonder. For example, the entire country watched, stunned, as the Ebola facts related to the late Liberian Thomas Eric Duncan unfolded. He was allowed to enter the U.S. – despite his risk factors for infection – and was the first person to be diagnosed with Ebola on U.S. soil. In fact, when he first went to the hospital, he was let go with some antibiotics.
Gee, I wonder, do you think the medical doctor that made that ‘diagnosis’ still works at the hospital? And, another thing, why are West African travelers still able to enter the U.S.?
Another suspicious component would have to be the government’s stake in the epidemic. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) own the patents for Ebola and for the Crucell Ebola vaccine, respectively. Could there be a profit incentive not to care about this epidemic and allow millions of people to get infected?
4. Jihadists may get creative with Ebola.
Bioterrorism has been a threat for a century, since anthrax and the glanders virus were used in efforts to destroy the other side’s livestock during World War I. In the wrong hands, Ebola can also be a bioterrorist threat. Jihadists could potentially infect themselves and enter the U.S. with the goal of infecting as many people as possible before they die.
5. The Ebola outbreak will change your way of life.
Americans currently enjoy a great deal of security, and feel safe going out in public. As more and more people get infected with Ebola – Americans may change their attitude. You may not want to expose yourself to thousands of people at baseball games, amusement parks, or public pools.
Are we ignoring a simple solution for Ebola?
We already know that nutritionally-deficient, immune suppressed individuals – like those in West Africa – are at a much higher risk for infectious diseases. So, why aren’t we focused on improving the nutritional status of these people? The citizens of these third world countries are victimized by nutritionally-deficient diets, polluted water supplies and poor living conditions which severely compromise the immune system and increases the likelihood of contracting infectious diseases.
Instead of spending millions of dollars on untested (toxic) vaccines and ineffective drug therapies, let’s build water wells, greenhouses and teach people how to grow organic foods to boost their immune function. Within days, these ideas would have a profound impact on local communities throughout Africa. As a matter of public health, it is the responsibility of health officials to look into all possible solutions for Ebola.
Am I being over-optimistic or unrealistic?
In the United States, to minimize the damage done by this deadly virus, let’s arm every hospital with highly effective (proven) natural medicines like, magnesium salts, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), iodine, selenium and vitamin C – which are concentrated nutritional substances with lifesaving properties. Well documented in the medical literature, we can kill infections before they cause irreversible damage. Just look up the work of Dr. Fredrick Robert Klenner – it’s truly amazing.
Bottom line, we have many inexpensive, and safe to administer, nutritional protocols designed to be given around the clock to Ebola patients to improve immune function and eradicate this viral threat. Let’s test these therapies against Ebola and start saving lives. What are we waiting for?
To minimize the risk of viral infections, boost your immunity by avoiding processed foods, white sugar and alcohol. Be sure to eat plenty of organic (chemical-free) vegetables and fruits – every day. Plus, if possible, be sure to incorporate some immune-boosting nutritional supplements like, Hawaiian Spirulina, vitamin D, Grazing Goat Whey Protein – added to your superfood smoothies and the multi-C protocol.
