Homeopathy and women’s intimate health issues

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

(NaturalHealth365) Last week we looked at erectile dysfunction (ED) and some homeopathic remedies that may be helpful to men. This week we are going to look at remedies that can help women.

A major barrier to women enjoying intercourse is vaginal dryness or vaginismus (involuntary spasms of the muscles surrounding the vagina that make penetration difficult and sometimes painful.)

Men need to be taught the “art of patience”

In some instances, having a poor sexual experience is simply because your partner may not fully understand that women often take longer to become aroused than men. If you think this may the cause, discuss the situation with your partner and try extending the time you spend having non-penetrative foreplay.

Consider using a lubricant, that is non-toxic. In fact, you can find an organic lubricant from: https://www.yesyesyes.org – which has great customer reviews.

You may find Homeopathy very useful. Try reading these descriptions to see if they match your particular symptom pattern. If so, try taking just one dose in a 30c potency before sexual intercourse to see if it helps.

If you can’t find a good match here, then visit a homeopath. There are literally thousands of possible remedies to choose from and the better the match to your circumstances the more effective a remedy will be.

Bellis perennis
Bruised sensation in the vagina, if intercourse is interrupted.

Cactus grandiflora
Vagina squeezes shut when intercourse is attempted. Intercourse may be easier just before menses.

Over sensitivity of the vulva and vagina. Heat and itchiness. Vaginismus with pain.

Cramping in the vagina and sometimes also in the legs, during intercourse.

Vagina feels dry, painful and raw. No feelings of arousal.

Anxiety before intercourse. Tendency to vaginismus.

Dry, burning vagina during and after intercourse. May have varicose veins in vulva.

Natrum mur
Dryness, with smarting and burning pains. Acrid discharge.

Strong sexual desire. May have erotic dreams. Difficult to have intercourse as vulva is extremely over-sensitive. Intercourse is painful and causes bruised sensation.

Rhus tox
Soreness during and after intercourse, often accompanied by physical restlessness.

Dryness with bleeding after intercourse. (If you have this symptom seek medical advice.) Feeling that everything will prolapse. Suits women who are exhausted and want to escape from their situation.

Extremely useful remedy for pain after loss of virginity or in instances of rape or sexual assault.

Vagina is over-sensitive making intercourse painful and difficult. Pains: burning, sore, bruised. May be helpful where there is a history of STI’s or if there are feelings of shame and self-disgust in relation to intercourse.

Next week I’ll be writing about why Homeopathy has the best remedies for pregnancy challenges. Have a great week and don’t forget to leave comments, questions and requests for me – below.

Nothing for peri/menopause. You always totally ignore that entire segment of the population.

I have a degree in Alternative Medicine and I trust homeopathy completely. If one has the opportunity to get the proper diagnosis (which is why homeopaths and naturopaths spend about 2 1/2 – 3 hours in the first interview with a patient).
If that doesn’t happen, then the game is changed completely to a guessing game and could do more harm than good.
It may seem like just a little white pellet that tastes of sugar, but I can verify that homeopathy works quite well.

What about dosage, where to get these things, side effects potentially caused? Homeopathic ingredients can have a side effect like any drug does. Also there is no mention of the form of these homeopathic ingredients one should take for the specific issues mentioned. The article could be more detailed. A step in the right direction but I think more info is needed.

    Hi Trudy
Peri menopause and menopause are big subjects. I will cover some remedies that may help in a couple of weeks from now.
I agree that a full consultation with a homeopath is always preferable for chronic and persistent complaints.

What about loss of libido at and after menopause…for both
    men and women??????

  • Mary Aspinwall

    Hi Josie
Good points. Since these posts are very short, please download my free e book to learn more. Homeopathy is side effect free and safe if you follow the Law of Similars ( the remedy has to match your situation) and The Law of the Minimum Dose ( only take one dose, if you are better no need too repeat unless the same symptoms return.)
    Hi Patricia
Loss of libido is quite a natural phenomena as we age, to everything there is a season… Clever marketing tactics by drug companies are used to make people feel abnormal and in need of their products.
    Best wishes

Thanks for selecting the symptoms as because most of the women hide them. It could be better if the Mary could have given her idea on potency too.

you have very nicely explained the symptoms in a very simple way so that a lay woman can easily choose the medicine that suits her and treat herself of a problem which can hardly discuss with anybody.carry on with more such briefs
