Prominent medical group pushes COVID shots for babies and kids despite CDC stepping back

covid-shots(NaturalHealth365)  Something unprecedented just happened in the world of childhood immunizations.  For the first time in three decades, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has broken ranks with the CDC by pushing COVID shots for babies as young as 6 months old.

This dramatic split comes after the CDC recently shifted to “shared clinical decision-making” between parents and doctors for healthy children, essentially stepping back from blanket recommendations for COVID shots in kids.  The AAP responded by doubling down, creating its own guidelines that push these shots even harder.

The timing raises serious questions about what’s really driving these recommendations.

Following the money trail

The AAP represents 67,000 pediatricians and receives substantial funding from pharmaceutical companies and the federal government.  When an organization’s financial survival depends on maintaining relationships with vax manufacturers, their “evidence-based” recommendations start looking a lot like marketing campaigns.

Critics have raised serious questions about potential conflicts of interest, pointing to the AAP’s financial ties to pharmaceutical companies and questioning whether their recommendations truly serve public health or commercial interests.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) was equally blunt, stating that “the AAP is putting commercial interests ahead of public health and politics above America’s children.”

The science doesn’t support the recommendations

Multiple recent studies have raised serious concerns about COVID shots in children.  A peer-reviewed study published in Pediatric Rheumatology found that children who received at least one COVID shot had a 23% higher risk of developing autoimmune disease compared to unvaxxed children.

Another study published in Immunity, Inflammation and Disease found that young adults who received Pfizer’s COVID vax showed elevated spike protein production a year or more after taking the jab – far longer than expected.  Children ages 5-11 who received two Pfizer doses had heightened levels of antibodies, suggesting an altered immune system response one year after getting jabbed.

Dr. Lawrence Palevsky, a pediatrician, put it bluntly: ‘The AAP has no legitimate scientific evidence to back up their claims … no one should be getting the COVID shot.  It’s not safe.  It’s not tested.  It doesn’t prevent infection.”

When medical organizations lose their way

The AAP’s aggressive push for infant COVID shots reveals how medical organizations can become captured by commercial interests rather than serving public health.  When money from drug companies starts driving medical recommendations instead of actual patient health, those recommendations become highly questionable.

Dr. Jane Orient from the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons got straight to the point: “There is and can be no evidence on long-term effects of COVID-19 shots on cancer or fertility because they haven’t been used long enough.”

That’s just basic science – you can’t claim safety data that doesn’t exist yet.

Ways to build strong immunity in children

Instead of depending on experimental shots for babies and kids, parents can use methods that have worked for generations to build robust immune systems:

Feed them real food: Breast milk gives infants unmatched immune support.  For older kids, real foods packed with vitamins C, D, and zinc help their immune systems work the way they should.

Prioritize sleep: Kids need good sleep for their immune systems to develop properly.  Regular bedtimes and enough rest help their bodies build natural defenses.

Spend time outdoors: Sunlight creates vitamin D, while fresh air and running around make kids stronger and healthier.

Avoid unnecessary toxins: Reduce your family’s exposure to processed foods, environmental chemicals, and unnecessary medications.  This lets their immune systems develop without constant interference.

Care for gut health: Most immune function happens in the gut.  Fermented foods, vegetables with fiber, and not overusing antibiotics help maintain healthy gut bacteria.

Create calm environments: Chronic stress weakens immunity even in children.  Supportive, low-stress home environments help maintain strong natural defenses.

What this really means for families

Bottom line: the AAP’s split with the CDC over baby COVID shots reveals more than just a policy disagreement – it shows how financial ties can corrupt medical recommendations.

Parents deserve honest information about risks and benefits, not marketing campaigns disguised as medical guidance.  This issue should prompt everyone to ask harder questions about who really benefits from these recommendations.

Genuine public health focuses on natural immunity, addresses root causes of disease, and acknowledges what we don’t know – especially regarding experimental interventions for the most vulnerable populations.
