Busting breast cancer myths

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

breast-cancer-exam(NaturalHealth365) According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), one in eight women will develop invasive breast cancer at some point in her life. And, even more statistically shocking, the disease seems to be striking younger women with increasing frequency, with breast cancer rates in women under 40 rising over the past 40 years.

Fact: In the two-year span between 2002 and 2004, the number of women who were diagnosed with breast cancer climbed by almost 50 percent – a disturbing increase (to say the least). According to Dr. Veronique Desaulners, renowned authority on treating breast cancer holistically, you can reduce these odds. The bottom line: transforming your lifestyle can help prevent diseases, including breast cancer – while creating vibrant health naturally.

Breast cancer truth: Recovery IS possible with the ‘seven essentials’ to vibrant health

According to Dr. Desaulners, following seven essential principles – which she has organized into a step-by-step educational regimen – can combat cancer while allowing you to live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

Essential 1: Let food be your medicine

Rather than ingesting dead, toxic food, strive to consume live food – which activates healthy genes while alkalizing and balancing the body. Dr. Desaulners recommends specific superfoods that are rich in fiber, protein, healthy fats, minerals, antioxidants and other phytonutrients.

Essential 2: Reduce your toxic exposure

Some experts say that 95 percent of all cancer is due to diet and the accumulation of toxins. In addition to reducing your toxic burden by decreasing your exposure to chemicals and pollutants, Dr. Desaulners advises a program of detoxification – which includes the use of coffee enemas to promote liver cleansing.

Essential 3: Balance your energy

According to physicists, we are only composed of 1 billionth physical matter, with the remainder comprised of pure energy.

Desaulners maintains that energy must be balanced through the central nervous system, the acupuncture meridian system and the hormones. Acupuncture, yoga, and chiropractic medicine are a few techniques for accomplishing this.

Essential 4: Heal your emotional wounds

Dr. Desaulners notes that depression can affect physical health – and is associated with increased inflammation, changes in the immune pathways and DNA mutation. In fact, she cites a study showing that people in psychological and emotional distress have a 32 percent greater chance of eventually dying from cancer.  Dr. Desaulners advises the “emotional freedom technique” to treat depression, along with positive visualization and exercise therapy.

Essential 5: Embrace biological dentistry

Dental amalgam fillings (loaded with mercury) can have potentially devastating effects on the immune system and general health. There is also a strong relationship between diseased organs and the dental meridians, and Dr. Desaulners notes that having a toxic filling or root canal can trigger the development of cancer.

Biological dentistry, including the safe removal of toxic amalgam mercury fillings, can help address these issues.

Essential 6: Repair your body with therapeutic plants

Dr. Desaulners supports the use of plant-based compounds to nourish, stimulate, detoxify and promote healing. Some even have constituents that can kill cancer cells by targeting them specifically, while leaving healthy cells unharmed.

Quercetin, a flavonoid found in plants, has anticancer effects, while mistletoe dramatically boosts survival times of cancer patient. In a study of 5,000 participants with cancer, researchers found that those who received mistletoe extract in conjunction with medical treatment lived an average of 40 percent longer than those who weren’t given the extract.

Essential 7: Adopt very early detection

Finally, Dr. Desaulners stresses the importance of early detection of breast cancer, and notes that Digital Infrared Thermal imaging – also called thermography – can pick up abnormal breast patterns up to 8 years before tumors are visible on a mammogram. In addition, specific blood tests can detect certain enzymes and hormones produced by cancer cells.

Join us, on the next NaturalHealth365 Talk Hour, to explore the ‘7 essentials’ to optimal health.  In addition, you’ll learn about the five best tests for early detection of breast cancer, the best therapeutic herbs, the most effective healing foods plus much more!

As the proverbial saying goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. I always find it amazing that a person will often listen to an outsider, before listening to a family member or friend. And that includes a family member that is knowledgeable.
