The 11 most common environmental toxins to avoid and why

(NaturalHealth365) If you’re suffering with chronic health conditions like fatigue, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular disease or cancer (to name a few), it’s probably due to an overload of toxins within your body.  Yet, most conventionally-trained doctors know little about how to safely remove these unwanted substances.

So, if this describes your situation, do not wait for Western medicine to change their ways.  Educate yourself and make detoxification a top priority.

Remember, brain fog, digestive problems and chronic fatigue are not a “normal” part of the aging process.  Today, we’ll identify how to properly reduce your risk.

First action step: Avoid the toxins that destroy your health

Most environmental toxins tend to build up in the body – creating a variety of health issues including metabolic disturbances, weight gain, food allergies to greater problems like, lung cancer and organ failure. Naturally, one of the best ways to regain your health is to avoid these toxins – to the best of your ability through air and water purification techniques and eating better quality food on a regular basis.

A short list of the worst offenders include:

  • Prescription drugs
  • Glyphosate
  • Volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
  • Perchlorate – found in lots of things like thyroid medications to rocket fuel
  • Asbestos
  • Molds
  • Phthalates
  • Pesticides
  • PCBs
  • Radioactive compounds
  • Heavy metals

The health risks associated with these substances are well-documented in the scientific literature, confirmed by most taxpayer funded health agencies and, unfortunately, ignored by too many people suffering with disease.

Every day, we (as a society) routinely allow the legalization of so many dangerous substances – it’s almost unimaginable. For example, according to Boyd Haley, PhD, “there is no doubt that mercury and mercury compounds represent the most dangerous form of metal toxicity since research shows them to cause adverse effects in animals and humans at very low levels and that a “retention toxicity” where seemingly non-toxic levels, when constantly present as in dental amalgam vapors, can slowly build up in tissues causing severe illnesses.”

Yet, every day, conventionally-trained dentists continue to poison people by placing mercury fillings in the mouths of uneducated patients.  If you have poor oral health issues – click this link to get INSTANT access to the Holistic Oral Health Summit, hosted by yours truly, Jonathan Landsman and find out how to safely deal with mercury-based, silver fillings; root canal treated teeth; gum disease + much more!

A great way to LOWER your risk of disease

When it comes to a good detox program – everyone ought to consider their own individual circumstances and, of course, work with a qualified (well-educated) healthcare provider with experience in how to safely remove toxins without harming the body. This point can NOT be overemphasized – if you mobilize toxins and don’t get rid of them efficiently – you could do more harm than good.

Having said that, if you want to avoid harming yourself, buy locally-grown (chemical free) food; stay well hydrated with clean (pure) water; purchase non-toxic personal care products and, of course, avoid the use of household cleaning products that are loaded with dangerous chemicals.

In addition, stop using toxic air fresheners and start using essential oils.

Reduce your exposure to VOCs by purifying your indoor air space.  Surround yourself with as many plants as you can (indoors) and, when the weather permits, get outside and exercise as often as you can.

There are so many other things to be aware of – in this toxic world.

For example, most conventionally-grown wheat is sprayed with glyphosate – a toxic herbicide – right before harvest. This may be the very reason why so many people suffer with wheat-related allergies and digestive disorders.

Of course, conventionally-produced meat and dairy products are loaded with toxic antibiotics, pesticides and synthetic hormones – which increases the risk of metabolic disorders and unwanted weight gain.  So, if you eat animal foods, only purchase “pasture-raised, organic” eggs or “100% grass-fed” meats.

My main message is simple: In many cases, you can reverse chronic health problems by simply cleaning up your immediate living space and making improvements to your diet.  No one is going to completely avoid all toxins – but the effort to minimize exposure is well worth the rewards.
