Commonly referred to as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), this shameful campaign actually promotes a fundamentally flawed way of preventing and treating all types of breast cancer. And, with all due respect to women, this ‘educational’ program has not told the entire truth about preventing breast cancer.
What has all this ‘awareness’ done for women throughout the world?
Breast cancer awareness month is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities – every October – to increase awareness about a disease that ‘has no cure’ (supposedly) and, of course, to raise lots of money for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and (maybe one day) cure.
Naturally, campaign leaders would have you believe that the revenue generated through fund-raising activities will help those affected by breast cancer with ‘valuable’ information and much needed emotional support.
The tainted history of breast cancer awareness month
NBCAM was founded in 1985 as a partnership between the American Cancer Society and the pharmaceutical division of Imperial Chemical Industries (now part of AstraZeneca, a producer of several breast cancer drugs). The purpose of NBCAM, from the beginning, has been to promote mammography and ‘early detection’ as the most effective way to prevent breast cancer.
But, how does cancer-causing radation from mammography prevent cancer?
AstraZeneca, formerly known as Zeneca, is a British-based multinational company that manufactures the popular cancer drug tamoxifen. In addition, get this, AstraZeneca also produces many other toxic medications that list cancer as its potential ‘side effect’. If you don’t believe me, just read the warning label of these drugs designed to ‘treat’ cancer.

Zeneca acquired the Salick chain of cancer treatment centers in 1997 and went on to merge with the Swedish pharmaceutical company Astra to form AstraZeneca – a toxic drug empire valued at over $60 billion.

This month also reflects the interest of the major manufacturers of the mammogram machines and film. This list includes Siemens, DuPont, General Electric, Eastman Kodak and Piker. They would, of course, want every woman to follow the mammography guidelines.
The mammography industry conducts research and serves on the advisory boards of national cancer societies. DuPont, a major manufacturer of mammography equipment, is also a major manufacturer of petrochemicals. It is the primary supporter of the American Cancer Societies breast cancer awareness programming.
But, the real question here is, do you think a cancer-causing chemical company really cares about your health? And, most importantly, are they capable of really finding a cure for cancer?

Instead of really educating people about how to prevent cancer – they’ve got pink ribbons on Diet Coke; Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup and give the go ahead to Hungry Howie’s Pizza to promote their awareness campaigns.

Coca-Cola, along with the cancer industry, see no cause for concern regarding the excessive amounts of aspartame consumed by individuals who drink diet soda on a daily basis. Just as there is no concern about the cans BPA lining or the other chemicals used linked to the development of cancer.
The American Cancer Society is a wolf in sheep’s clothes
The American Cancer Society’s alliance with the cancer drug industry is a profitable partnership. In fact, according to Dr. Samuel Epstein, the American Cancer Society is the world’s wealthiest ‘nonprofit’ institution.
A vice president of a major herbicide manufacturer sits on the board of directors of The American Cancer Society. Officials in the National Cancer Institute accept very lucrative jobs in the companies developing these toxic cancer drugs.
The cancer industry is littered with ‘conflict of interest’ partnerships. In truth, cancer industry profits are reaching record levels, while more and more people die of cancer – every year.
