CDC openly admits original PCR tests are not reliable, after using them to drive pandemic fear
(NaturalHealth365) Are the U.S. government and mainstream media changing the goalposts again? We’ve had media “experts” admit that cloth masks are nothing more than “facial decorations.” We’ve seen the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) acknowledge something that “conspiracy theorists” have correctly said all along – that the VAST majority of people who have sadly died with COVID-19 had at least “4 additional conditions or causes [of] death” (in other words, it wasn’t just COVID that killed them – and possibly not even COVID at all).
And we are now seeing U.S. officials, including the CDC itself, finally admit that the PCR tests used so far – the very tests which propelled the mass fear and hysteria around rising COVID “cases” – are not accurate enough to use for making decisions regarding quarantine and related pandemic issues.
PCR tests used to fuel pandemic fears REVOKED by FDA, CDC admits these tests can lead to false positives
The legitimate concern over false-positive COVID PCR test results has been an issue raised by many citizens and medical experts who have questioned the mainstream and highly propagandized pandemic narrative. And on December 29, 2021, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky finally admitted the concern is valid.
In an interview on Good Morning America, Walensky acknowledged that the PCR tests following infections are “not going to be helpful” because a person can still test positive for up to 12 weeks. For this reason, the CDC says that people no longer need a negative test in order to leave quarantine.
Moreover, the CDC has voluntarily REVOKED the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the nation’s original PCR test, called the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel – a decision that was actually announced back in July of last year.
Unsurprisingly, fact-checkers routinely insist that the CDC’s decision to voluntarily recall the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay was NOT because the test can’t tell the difference between the flu and COVID-19. But statements made by the CDC call this into question.

How many “cases” of COVID-19 in the first part of the pandemic were actually the flu? Will we ever know the truth?
On their website, the CDC expressly encourages laboratories to “transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test” and adopt methods that – unlike the original PCR test – “can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses.”
Could this inability of the original PCR tests to differentiate between COVID-19 and the flu help explain why the flu virtually and inexplicably “disappeared“ in the 2019-2020 season? After all, the original PCR test “wasn’t built to detect influenza,” as explained by Nebraska Medicine.
But echoing Reuters and the CDC, Nebraska Medicine states that the recall of the original PCR was really intended just to increase efficiency, so that labs will start using tests that can determine the presence (or absence) of both SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses at the same time, rather than having to expose a patient to multiple nasal swabs. They, along with the rest of the mainstream narrative, continue to insist that the PCR tests no longer being used were accurate at detecting the virus that causes COVID-19.
Readers: what do you think? Are the flaws with the original PCR test being fairly and accurately disclosed?
