High blood pressure readings LOWERED by eating mangoes

In simple terms, the researchers did confirm that eating mangoes can lower blood pressure naturally. For the study, post menopausal women consumed two mango servings (330 grams) per day for 14 days.

Measurements were taken regularly, including blood pressure, heart rate, blood samples and a breath measurement. After 14 days, the women resumed a normal diet but did not eat mango for 13 days.
The researchers found that eating two servings of mangoes per day brought significant systolic blood pressure benefits for otherwise healthy post-menopausal women. Consuming the fruit regularly was found to relax blood vessel constriction in just two hours in some cases.

Some participants also showed positive changes to their levels of breath methane, which can be measured to determine the level of gut fermentation. This implies that mangoes bring digestive balance/gut microbiome benefits as well.
Diabetes and heart patients need to pay close attention to THIS
Eating mangoes are a highly effective way to lower blood pressure naturally. The findings of positive stomach and vascular benefits from eating mangoes build on other research about the health effects of mangoes, including cellular and animal studies.
Mangoes are rich in beneficial polyphenols, including quercetin, mangiferin, gallic acid and gallotannins. These compounds are associated with a protective effect on the cells and bodily processes.
While mangoes contain natural sugar, they also have an undeniable effect on regulating blood sugar and glucose levels. This holds tremendous promise for persons with diabetes or pre-diabetes.
A study published in Nutrition and Metabolic Insights found that eating mangoes decreased fasting blood glucose levels in obese persons. A British study of mice from 2011 found the same effect on glucose levels as well as a positive effect on cholesterol. The mice also lost weight.
Regulate blood sugar and lower blood pressure naturally by eating mangoes
For the human study, 20 obese persons ate 10g of freeze-dried, ground mango daily for three months. A control group did not. Those who ate mango demonstrated a significant drop in blood glucose levels.
In males, hip circumference decreased – however, body weight and composition stayed the same.
Mangoes are a delicious tropical fruit that can be eaten plain or served sliced on salads or baked in desserts. They are also delicious when pureed into a pudding or shake.
