NH365 055: Cancer cures – How big pharma suppresses the truth

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

naturalhealth365 podcast(NaturalHealth365) Cancer still remains a ‘mystery’ to most uneducated patients suffering from a wide variety of health issues related to this dreadful disease. Most conventionally-trained physicians see little point in talking to cancer patients about diet and lifestyle changes. In fact, to this day, the “standard of care” is still surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation.

But, what about all the scientifically-validated natural remedies for cancer? I’m talking about foods, herbs, medicinal mushrooms and teas proven to prevent, even reverse cancerous conditions. I, personally, know of many people – given no hope by Western medicine – that have cured themselves without the need for toxic drugs or surgical procedures.

Today, on the NaturalHealth365 Podcast, I’ll introduce you to a cancer survivor who created The Annie Appleseed Project, a non-profit that provides information, education, advocacy, and awareness for people with cancer and their family and friends who are interested in complementary or alternative medicine (CAM) and natural therapies from a patient’s perspective.

  • How we can help to change the system and improve cancer care plus much more!

The vision of The Annie Appleseed Project

From its inception the Annie Appleseed Project decided to challenge the existing treatment paradigm, to question the existing research methods and subjects, and to propose new directions for both ending with true integrative oncology. Thus the program named Cheqpt is designed to bring complementary, alternative therapies to the mainstream as soon as they are available – while serving as a place where all ideas are scrutinized.

With about 90,000 web site visitors per month, thousands have heard Ann Fonfa, and other volunteer advocates speak at various meetings around the world.

Other people with cancer (all volunteers) have gotten involved and produced reports on treatment responses, clinic visits, meetings attended and much more. They now offer financial support to advocates who attend meetings, write reports and hand out brochures.

The Mission

The Annie Appleseed Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, provides information, education, advocacy, and awareness for people with cancer and their family and friends who are interested in complementary or alternative medicine (CAM) and natural therapies from a patient’s perspective.

They provide information that helps everyone/anyone reduce their risk for cancer (and heart disease, diabetes, and more modern ailments). Our information helps people in active conventional cancer treatment, reduce toxicities and, they provide information for anyone interested in alternative or natural therapies.
