“The medical system still comes out of the dark ages of physical modeling of everything, and they don’t understand systemic influences, and really advanced biology and how things work. So the truth is, whether we’re talking about Alzheimer’s or cancer or diabetes, there are causes that lead to symptoms,” Adams points out.
Hidden toxins in the food supply destroy brain function and immunity
Mike Adams has long been an advocate for clean food. He oversaw the construction of a food forensics laboratory in central Texas. The lab’s central feature is an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry instrument, or ICP-MS – which is able to detect heavy metal toxins, dangerous pesticides and herbicides in foods, water and vaccines, down to the parts per billion.
As Adams points out, ‘the ICP-MS has the unique ability to detect metals and elements, including nickel, lead, mercury, or magnesium, at very low concentrations – in almost any sample you might want tested.’
What Adams found out after establishing the food forensics laboratory is nothing short of astounding. “It turns out that the USDA has no limits on heavy metals for organic foods. So no one was testing it and lots of people are eating toxic foods. Our lab is the first to expose it. And that’s just one small example of what we run into.”
Heavy metal contamination of the food supply is only part of the story
Adams has long opposed the use of genetically modified ingredient in our food and wants to see GMO food products labeled. The long-term consequences of GMO food products is unknown and their relationship to the onset of diseases such as dementia and diabetes continues to unfold.
