Dementia warning: Toxic food truths exposed at the Alzheimer’s summit
(NaturalHealth365) The gateway to optimal health and longevity, food can be your best ally or the direct cause of serious health problems like Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. But, here’s the real truth: the problems with toxic food are not limited to the obvious threats posed by highly processed junk food. Even organic foods can be tainted with heavy metals and other toxins that can cause chronic fatigue, memory loss and even cancer.
The food industry exposed. Mike Adams, editor of Other Recommended Resources and science lab director of CWC Labs points out that consumers cannot rely on food manufacturers and processors nor government agencies to tell them a food is entirely free of toxins. The only way to protect your health – especially the ability to think clearly – is to become better educated about the dangers of heavy metal contamination and other unwanted chemicals in our food supply.
You CAN prevent and reverse Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia despite what you’ve been told by conventional medicine. Don’t miss Mike Adams plus over 30 integrative healthcare experts at this year’s Alzheimer’s and Dementia Summit.
Uncovering the truth about the causes of Alzheimer’s and dementia
Few conventionally-trained medical doctors would dare to admit that Alzheimer’s and dementia can be reversed with lifestyle changes. And, an even smaller number are willing to link factors like food toxins to brain health issues. Sadly, even the Alzheimer’s Association, the so-called ‘go to source’ for news about Alzheimer’s, remains disinterested in natural ways to improve brain function. In fact, they deny that dementia can be prevented with good food and healthy lifestyle habits, while at the same time asking for additional research funds.
Just like the non-profit cancer groups – more money for research is their primary goal in life. If a solution was discovered and popularized – they would be out of business. This is why they suppress the truth about natural cures.
Obviously, the pharmaceutical industry stands to benefit from the Alzheimer’s disease epidemic. Protecting their self-interest means opposing any information or research suggesting that dementia can be reversed or prevented. The industry wields tremendous influence over the entire medical community, federal government and mainstream media outlets. As a result, the vast majority of the population remain uneducated about how to prevent disease.
The truth about dementia is coming out – despite the oppressive control of big pharma
Just because conventional medicine refuses to see the true causes of dementia, doesn’t mean we can ignore the truth. “Food can either promote Alzheimer’s and dementia, or it can reverse it. And this is what’s crucial to know – Alzheimer’s does not need to be a permanent condition if it is caught early and if the causative factors are eliminated from the body,” says Adams, a featured speaker at the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Summit.
“The medical system still comes out of the dark ages of physical modeling of everything, and they don’t understand systemic influences, and really advanced biology and how things work. So the truth is, whether we’re talking about Alzheimer’s or cancer or diabetes, there are causes that lead to symptoms,” Adams points out.
Hidden toxins in the food supply destroy brain function and immunity
Mike Adams has long been an advocate for clean food. He oversaw the construction of a food forensics laboratory in central Texas. The lab’s central feature is an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry instrument, or ICP-MS – which is able to detect heavy metal toxins, dangerous pesticides and herbicides in foods, water and vaccines, down to the parts per billion.
As Adams points out, ‘the ICP-MS has the unique ability to detect metals and elements, including nickel, lead, mercury, or magnesium, at very low concentrations – in almost any sample you might want tested.’
What Adams found out after establishing the food forensics laboratory is nothing short of astounding. “It turns out that the USDA has no limits on heavy metals for organic foods. So no one was testing it and lots of people are eating toxic foods. Our lab is the first to expose it. And that’s just one small example of what we run into.”
Heavy metal contamination of the food supply is only part of the story
Adams has long opposed the use of genetically modified ingredient in our food and wants to see GMO food products labeled. The long-term consequences of GMO food products is unknown and their relationship to the onset of diseases such as dementia and diabetes continues to unfold.
Speaking as part of the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Summit, Adams will be discussing his experience and views on:
• Foods that must be avoided to prevent dementia
• A major alert about commonly used nutritional supplements
• Best nutrients to decrease the risk of dementia
Become your own health advocate and avoid becoming a medical statistic
When Adams confronted food manufacturers about the heavy metal contamination issues, he was met with negative responses and a general lack of interest in righting the wrong situation. Food companies denied the findings, denied Adams future access to their products and even countered the evidence by saying that heavy metals were “healthy.”
Educating yourself about the latest research from those in the health field who believe that we CAN prevent and reverse disease is an intelligent (practical) choice. Staying informed is critical to avoiding the causes of horrific diseases like dementia, cancer and diabetes.
